Congratulations to Craig Wildenradt and CEC amplification

Tonight I'd like to give a quick shout out to CEC amplification, a small company based in Nashville, TN.   I've had the opportunity over the last few years to see and hear a lot craft-made amplifiers... there's no doubt that there are a number of talented builders out there these days.   But while some of these amps sound good, others are well made, and some look good, there seem to be comparatively few that combine the whole package.  But a notable exception are the amps being produced by Craig Wildenradt under his CEC label.  I've been an admirer of his work for some time, and have recently gotten to know him a bit on through some of the on-line builder's forums ... if you ever get a chance to peek inside one of Craig's amps, you'll see that the components are first rate, the wiring is a work of art.  But on top of it all, they just sound sound great.  So I was really pleased to see that CEC's Toll-Free Express Amp received a very positive review in the January 2012 edition of Premier Guitar.   It's some well-deserved recognition for great amps made by an expert builder.  Congratulations Craig and CEC!
